If you have some skills with woods you may think of making a magazine rack or a letter rack. These are relatively easy to make and the ply wood you need can be availed at a cheaper cost. If you think making a rack is too much of a work you may consider making him a picture frame. This will take up comparatively less time and is easier to make than the racks.

Nothing can impress your dad more than to prepare something for him with your own hands. If cooking is your think you may think of making a nice cake or cookies. Pick a simple cake or cookie recipe that your dad will like. Clear up you calendar since you will need considerable amount of time to bake. Do remember to wrap them in a nice Christmas gift box and present it with a lovely note.

If your dad is a golfer you may present a painted gold tee. This most certainly will be something that he will be talking about with his gold buddies for days to come. If you want to present something other than a golf tee you may want to pick up a white towel and carefully knit in a design with his name on it. This too can be an excellent Christmas gift for our dad.

Making a Christmas gift for your dad no matter how simple or inexpensive it is will definitely make him appreciate your effort. You are only limited by your imagination and will to make something great for your parents.
